Coach Hayes has been coaching at South Eugene since 2016. Coach Hayes is the Head Coach for the South Eugene Boys and the South Eugene girls. Coach Hayes is also the Head Coach for Eugene City Water Polo and is the Head Coach for the Cadet Team for the USA Water Polo Olympic Development Team for the Northwest Zone. Coach Hayes played high school water polo at South Eugene, and college water polo at Chapman University. When he is not coaching, you can find Coach Hayes working at Monroe Middle School.

Coach Dave was an Assistant Coach for South Eugene Water Polo and Eugene City Water Polo. Coach Dave played high school water polo in St. Louis and college water polo at Indiana University. When he is not coaching, you can find Coach Dave riding his bike, hanging out with his family, or in the operating room.
